Are you up for the
40 Day Meditation Challenge
Next Challenge starts:
May 12
and ends
Summer Solstice
In Kundalini Yoga, the number 11 is very important.  Yogi Bhajan
stated that on 11/11/11 we would officially be in the Age of
Aquarius.  We are leaving the old Piscean Age - the Age of Fire,
Machines, Power and moving forward into a heart centred world
of love and compassion.  Time to let go of old habits and beliefs
and re-discover who we really are.
So this year is a good time to commit to change and one of the
ways we can do this is through meditation, practicing it as a daily
Sadhana, a daily discipline.  When we meditate for 40 days it
changes a habit.   Habit controls us so much that it is said that
we can actually change our destiny by changing our habits.
According to yogic science, the human mind works in cycles.
We can use various cycles to help replace unwanted patterns of
behaviour (mental or emotional habits) with new, more positive
ones.  So lets commit to the 40 day challenge and see what inner
discoveries you make!

Here are the rules:
1)  Meditate for either 3 minutes or 11 minutes a day
2)  Do not change the meditation once you've started
3)  Try to do it at the same time of day at the same place.

Optional:
Write in a journal your thoughts during the meditation
Officially join the challenge by completing the Pledge.  When you
commit to something it is always better if you tell people so you
are accountable.

Meditation Sadhana

"There are two guiding instincts in man.  He is
either improving his future or blocking his
future improvement.  If you are conscious of
this, and have an honest and sincere urge to
improve the future, you will always have
promoting habits.  If you cannot care for God,
at least care for the future."
Yogi Bhajan

Meditation Minutes

3 minutes of meditation affects the
electromagnetic field, the circulation and
stability of the blood

11 minutes of meditation begins to change the
