ABOUT MARIE In the course of her 25 years in the travel industry, Marie visited many places and came into contact with numerous cultures and philosophies. Her exposure to these varied cultures and belief systems, as well as her growing passion for alternative modes of healing, led her over time to the practice of yoga, and in turn to the exploration of various approaches to healing, wellness and spirituality. Along the way she was drawn into exploring her own inner nature, with these explorations leading her ever further into a journey of self discovery. The overall experience drew her to courses in Hatha Yoga as well as Qi Gong, Reiki and Tai Chi. This culminated ultimately in her achieving formal accreditation and certification as an Instructor for both Life Coaching and Wellness Counselling, and as an Instructor in Kundalini Yoga. Marie believes passionately in a holistic approach to wellness, placing particular emphasis on the inner power of the individual to aspire to and achieve optimal health and wellness. Marie feels for many individuals this can be more readily achieved with intelligent and informed direction. |
